Leinster Academy Players Named

The Leinster Rugby Academy Players have been named for the 2008-09 season.
Blackrock College have the most representatives with 7. The closest other club has 3 representatives. They are Royce Burke Flynn (Prop), Kyle Tonetti (10,12), Shane Monahan (Winger), Gary Foley (Centre), David Moore (Half Back), Paul Ryan (Backrow) and Niall Morris (Back Three) (Left in action at the IRB Under 20's World Cup).

Shane Byrne announced as Senior XV Captain...

Best of luck to Shane, who was announced as Senior XV Captain for the coming season, who takes over from Des Dillon.

Blackrock College RFC Golf outing, spaces still available.
The Golf outing is taking place at Bray Golf Club, August 22nd 2008.
With the upgrading of the house and grounds over the summer months, we are asking for as much support as possible for the golf day in order to generate much needed income for the improvements.

Fixtures for the new season announced...

With a Warm up game against Lansdowne is confirmed for Wednesday the 21st of August at 7pm, the first competitive game takes place on the 30/8/2008 v Trinity College in the Leinster League. On this day there will be a tasting Friday's, courtesy of TGI's, one of the clubs new sponsors, live music and drinks promotions, beginning at 12.30pm pre match. We are hoping for as much support as possible for that day and throughout the season.
